We arrived Friday in time for a great pasta dinner. The cabin sits at the end of the road with only one neighbor on her end of the lake..
Looking at the cabin from the dock.
These Ladies really know how to whip up great food. I think I agree with Ron Lee when he says he gains 6 pounds every Fall when they come here. This year Carol Lee fell and broke her arm when at home yet that didn't stop her and Ron from coming up for the weekend. Glad to hear that it didn't need to be put in a cast.
Fran found a quite time to relax and listen to the loons calling.
Ron Lee relaxing with rod and reel.

After the morning fog burns off the lake is often very still. Get great reflections.
This is the morning fog that often is present.
But the loons still come down to our end of the lake.
They came back after the fog had burned off so I had to take some more pictures.
Why so many pictures of loons? Well they are my wife's favorite bird. When she hears them call or sees them close by she drops everything and goes down to the dock to see them.
Sabbath afternoon 11 of the 14 took a hike along the Wisconsin river.
Some wore the more subdued look while ....
Dr. Jeff Peak wore the more "flashy" look. By the way he wore those to church as well. Got lots of looks from the little old Ladies of the church. He even played the piano for Sabbath School in them.
The path goes through a stand of pine trees.
This is an inlet from the river on the one side with the river on the other side. A beautiful place to spend some time in God's great outdoors.
My wife found a nice tree to relax on.
Then she talked her friend Dorothy in to posing behind this pine tree. Opps! Forgot about the sap. Sorry Dorothy!!
Beautiful area.
This old tree marks the end of the trail. A great place to sit around and visit.
Well Tuesday morning came way too soon. One last look at the lake and it's time to head for home.
Most left for home on Monday but Dick, Dorothy, Fran and I stayed until Tuesday. Thanks Lavonne for the great weekend. See you next Fall for another relaxing Lab reunion.
