New carpet is in

The new living room wih carpet matching furniture instead of the rose colored carpet.

Close up look at the carpet. Brown fleck with white background.

Fran wasn't sure if throw rugs were OK thus tags still on them. They are staying.

The hallway looks brighter and shorter with new carpet.

Bedroom is nice with carpet. Glad we didn't go with redoing hardwood floors.

Bedroom with just hardwood floor unfinished.

Hallway with old carpet out and just plywood flooring.

All living room furniture had to be moved into dining room. Fran didn't like the disrupted living spaces.

Living room with old carpet out and just waiting for new carpet installation.

I think it’s a good thing you chose the brown flecked carpet with the white background over rose colored carpet. It does match your furniture and wall pretty nicely. And it will definitely be nicer to walk around that area now that you have a carpet under your feet cushioning your every step!

The carpet blends well with your living room. Good choice! And you’re right; it helps in creating a clean and brighter feel in your hallway. Anyway, carpets need to be vacuumed at least once or twice a week based on how frequently the carpet was used throughout the week. It is to prevent particles from settling into the carpet fibers.
